Looks like the first appearance of 2017 Google Pixel XL is this model reported by the Android Police. AndJust like this year’s LG G6 and Galaxy S8, its key feature is much smaller bezels – all the way better.

As the reports seem to put, a major disparity of the 2016 Pixels was its big bezel design. And Google has taken a brisk step to replace its big bezels with smaller ones. Android Police (the site where these images appeared first) also claims that LG will be the manufacturer of Pixel 2 in this term contrary to HTC taking the charge last year, which also demonstrates how much LG has focused on minute details with the G6.

The display is reportedly set at 6-inches with a 2:1 aspect ratio. Also, it seems that the smaller Pixel will remain quite the same other than a spec bump. So it will have a larger bezel and a 5-inch screen. This part seems weird in a way because a bigger screen in a small body is always more acceptable than a big screen in a body that ails your palm in operating it with one hand. Apart from that, another expected but lacking feature is a dual-camera setup.

In terms of specs, it seems that we are getting quite a nice deal: a previous leak from XDA guessed a Snapdragon 835 processor with 4 GB of RAM and 64/128GB of internal storage. So the machine seems right on most of the points. Nonetheless, it may be a seemingly disappointing news for many as following the line of iPhone, it looks like Google has not included a headphone jack with Pixel’s successor.

The smartphone will have squeeze sensitivity a la HTC U11 – despite not being built by HTC. This feature functions for easy interacting with the Google Assistant. It is yet to be known if it will be customizable or not.

Android Police also reports that the design may change till the gadget is unveiled. Still, it gives a good idea of what we may expect. Like last year, Pixel has created a lot of curiosity around. Now as we already know its specs and designs, waiting becomes more substantial.
