Oppo Just Lauched R11, A Selfie Phone With 20 Megapixel Front Facing Camera

After many leaks, Oppo has finally announced R11, the company’s yet another smartphone that claims to have one of the best selfie cameras around. The phone will go on sale in China on Saturday, June 10 but there are no details about Pricing available yet. The phone should be priced around $485 according to rumors though.

The phone has a 5.5-inch 1080p display and it is powered y a Snapdragon 660 SoC paired with 4 GB of RAM. Oppo has packed 64 gigs of internal storage for Android 7.1 nougat and if needed it can be expanded using external microSD Cards.

On the shooter side, the phone has a 20-megapixel front facing camera which should provide enough details for duck-faced selfies. There are 2 cameras on the back too, one is a 20 megapixel and the another one is a 16-megapixel sensor with a 2X optical zoom (similar to iPhone 7 Plus) and a dual LED flash.

The phone will get juice from its 2900mAh battery and connectivity wise it will have support for 4G LTE, GPS, Wi-FI, and Bluetooth.

The Oppo R11 will come in 3 colors: Black, Gold and Rose Gold and the phone has a 3.5 mm audio jack too.

Strong selfie cameras have been a good selling point for Oppo phones in recent years, it will be interesting to see what R11 does to the market in future.
