Everything We Know About The Upcoming Galaxy Note 8

A Leaked Image of Galaxy Note 8

Samsung’s last attempt at phablets did not result in a massive success. While the phone hardware design was as premium as ever, faulty batteries started catching fire and the phone had to be recalled.

The company made it clear last month that it will not kill the line-up and that a new Note device will be launched in the second half of 2017. Recently, some details about the upcoming phone surfaced around the internet. A leak on Chinese social networking site Weibo suggested that the Galaxy Note 8 will have a curved 6.3 Inch display and it will look very similar to the Galaxy S8 Plus’ display.

Apart from the display, the phone may also come with a dual camera setup something that Apple and LG have already done with their flagship phones. The leak suggested that one of them will be a 12 megapixel wide Angle camera and the other one will be a 13-megapixel telephoto CIS. Both cameras on the back will support optical zoom up to 3X and Optical image stabilization as well.

Considering none of the leaked images have been varified officially, we should take them with a grain of salt. Considering Note 7 has been one of the biggest PR nightmares of recent years for the mobile industry, Samsung knows that it will be very hard to get back the consumer trust.
