You Can Wash This Android Phone (Seriously)

washable phone

Have you ever wondered how easy would your life be if you could wash that dirty dust off your phone with a nice soap? Well, if you are craving to have a product that is washable, you are in luck.

I don’t know why, but a Japanese firm has been making and selling washable phones since some years. The company “Kyocera” just launched a new washable Android Phone for general public. The phone is resistant to both foaming hand soap and body soap, and you can wash it just like you wash other stuff on your home.

But what fun is a phone that can only be washed? The company understands, and while the specs of the phone are not mind blowing, the phone still comes with a very usable hardware. The KYOCERA rafre has a 3000 mAh battery, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of Internal storage and to shame almost all mid-tier Indian Smartphones; it comes with Android 7.0 pre-installed.

The phone has a 5 inch LCD screen and a 5-megapixel camera on the front, and you can find a 13-megapixel camera on the back.

The phone will go on sale in Japan in March, there is no word yet if it will come to other countries or not, but let’s hope it does.

Many flagship phones, including iPhone 7 and Galaxy S7 Edge have water resistance, but you can’t wash them with soap. If you have always dreamed about washing a phone on your sink, rafre might be the perfect smartphone for you.

Do I want one? No thanks, I better wash the dishes that I left last night.
