LG Just Launched Q6 Lineup With Almost Bezel-less Displays On a Budget

LG G6 was one of the first true flagship of 2017 (We don’t talk about HTC U Ultra) and one of the most compelling features of the phone was its one of a kind, taller than usual and almost bezel-less 18:9 display. If you have been interested in getting a phone with a similar display but LG G6’s full flagship price turned you off, it looks like LG has made a phone just for you.

The company today revealed a new phone lineup called Q6 series and launched 2 phones named LG Q6, Q5 Plus, and Q6a. All phones have the same display as G6 but they will come at affordable prices.

All phones have a 5.5-inch  2160×1080 display with a  pixel density of 442 PPI and the body of all models will be made with 7000 series aluminum. The phones will have mid-range Snapdragon 435 SoC and all phones will come with a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing wide-angle camera.

The Q6 Plus will ship with 4GB RAM and 64 GB Storage, Q6 will come with 3GB RAM and 32 GB storage and The LG Q6a will come with 2GB RAM and 16 GB Storage. I Think the first two models should be more than enough for mainstream users. All phones also come with a non-removable 3,000 mAh battery.

The company did not reveal exact pricing, but considering the phones don’t have balls to the wall specs, we can hope that phones will ship at much lower prices than the og G6. The phone will go on sale in August in all major markets.
