Samsung has announced a new phone in its Galaxy Seris called Samsung Galaxy Feel. The smartphone runs the latest Android 7.0 Nougat on a 4.7 inch AMOLED display that has a semiHD resolution of 720×1080 Pixels. The screen is dust and water resistance with an IP6x rating. Galaxy feel is the next announcement from Samsung after its release of Galaxy S8.
Galaxy Feel is supposed to be available in the market anywhere around the middle of June. It is open for pre-booking in Japan on NTY DoCoMo’s site. The gadget holds a 1.6GHz processor with 3GB of RAM, a 16MP camera on the rear and 5MP on the front, and has connectivity through Wifi 802.11 a/b/g/n, 4g VoLTE and Bluetooth 4.2. Dimensions of the gadget are 138x67x8.3mm with a weight of 149grams.
It is powered by a 3000mAh battery that brags of delivering a 170 hours standby time with quick charging that takes maximum 110 minutes to have it charged fully. Though there is no mention of price, it is to fit in the budget segment of the smartphone market. The phone will come in three color variants: white, Pink and blue, with metal edges around the screen, and a fingerprint sensor below the home button on the front. Volume buttons are on the left edge while the power button is on the right.
