If you live in Italy and you think going to a physical store to buy a car is not your taste, you are in luck.

Amazon Italy announced today that it will soon offer Italy’s 3 best selling cars on its website from where you will be able to buy them alongside with your toothpaste.

All three cars are from Fiat Chrysler and the models on sale will be ‘Panda’, ‘500’ and ‘500L’.

The time has arrived to give consumers a new, more efficient and transparent way to choose a new vehicle,”

Gianluca Italia, of Fiat Chrysler in Italy

After you have picked up the car options online, you will be contacted by an Amazon representative who will give you details on how you can finalize the purchase and how you can pick up the new vehicle. Bummer that you can’t click buy and get it delivered at your doorstep.

Amazon has a new section on its site for vehicles

According to Italia, half of Italians are willing to buy their next car online, but almost 97% of them still want to pick it up from a traditional dealer instead of getting it delivered at home.

Itlay is not the only one, though. Last month, Amazon France announced a similar deal and in the case of France, users will also be able to do the payment online.

If you are in the US, you might be disappointed because of a complicated regulatory environment. These regulatory require the car transactions to be handled by an authorized car dealer.
