Samsung Will Be Launching Galaxy Note 7 Variant With 6GB RAM, 128GB Storage on August 26

Now that OnePlus 3 has started the trend of phones with 6 GB of RAM, Samsung might also be releasing a new version of Note 7, which will come with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB of Onboard memory.

Samsung started sending out invites for a launch event in china, it will take place on 26th August. It has been confirmed by Samsung’s mobile division’s president Dong-jin Koh, who said that company is considering realising a version of Galxy Note 7 in china with upgraded memory.

While Galaxy Note 7 currently ships with  Exynos 8890 processor, the newer, beefier version may come with a Snapdragon 820 SoC.

If you are interested in buying a Samsung Phone with 6 GB of RAM, don’t get your hopes too high, there has been no official word about releasing the phone for contries other than China.

Chinese Smartphone market has some phone that ship with more than 4 GB of RAM and to stay on the top of specs game, it will be crutial step for Samsung to offer same (if not more) hardware specification to customers.
