Lenovo has already launched some notable Motorola phones recently (Motorola C comes to mind) almost all of them were aimed at the budget market. It looks like the PC hardware maker is ready to launch another mid-high end phone in the market. The upcoming phone will be called Moto X4 and while some details such as a dual camera setup were already leaked in past, now a new leak has confirmed that the phone will have a curved screen too. Evan Blass, which is one of the most trusted leakers in the word tweeted about it recently. It looks like the phone will come with a with a round-shaped camera panel with two sensors and LED flash at the bottom and a screen on the front which will be curved similar to recent Samsung flagship phones. The Moto X4 will be unveiled in the fourth quarter this year. In terms of design, the Moto X4 has been said to come with an aluminum body and pack a 5.2-inch full-HD display.
The key feature of Moto X4 is dual camera setup on the rear end with an 8-megapixel and another 12-megapixel sensor. It carries a 16-megapixel camera at the front for taking selfies. The phone will also come with IP68 water and dust resistance rating and a fingerprint scanner at the front that allows users to unlock the device as well as provides other navigation controls. The phone will probably run on Android 7.1 Nougat and processor will be an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC clocked at 2.2GHz with 4GB of RAM. Phones storage will be 32GB inherent flash drive and battery 3000mAh battery.
Project Fi MVNO service is also included in the phone that allows users to switch seamlessly between the different carriers. Other than Google’s phones, Moto X4 will be first to provide this utility.
