Samsung’s plus-sized Galaxy S8 will pack a huge 6.2-inch display

Samsung is more than a month away from unveiling its flagship model, and the rumors surrounding the release are at their peak currently. The latest leak has given us a sneak peek at the Samsung Galaxy S8. The rumor suggests that the flagship model is going to be a huge device.

The reliable Evan Blass from VentureBeat tweeted a list of the specifications of the upcoming Galaxy S8. The leak, however, didn’t add anything substantial to the previous rumors but then again it gave more solid ground to the earlier ones.

Supporting a report that was published back in November the specifications sheet stated that the Galaxy S8 would come with a massive 6.2 inch Super AMOLED display with rounded corners.

There have had been earlier speculations that the much awaited Samsung Galaxy S8 will have a 6.2-inch display, it remains to be seen how Samsung will customize the design to improve the screen to bezel ratio.

Other specifications of the Galaxy S8 include water resistance, iris scanner, 4GB RAM and 64 GB internal memory that will be expandable. The flagship model will come with wireless charging and will support Samsung Pay.

It is expected that the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will be the first smartphones to be powered by Qualcomm’s all-new Snapdragon 835 processor. Samsung might even introduce its own assistant Bixby in the flagship phones.

The device is expected to the announced in March, and the official launch will happen in mid-April.
