Just a few days ago, Samsung unveiled its flagship models Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. The devices sported infinity display and came in two sizes. Both of them came with 4GB of RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage while also supporting expandable storage via microSD card. Now a new variant of Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus has been launched in South Korea and it has 6GB RAM and 128 GB internal memory.

The device was first spotted by Android Headlines on Samsung Korea’s website. Samsung is also giving away a DeX station dock for free with the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus 6GB RAM variant. Although whether it is being given with pre-orders or purchase is unclear at the moment. The device is only available in South Korea as of now but it was spotted earlier on China FCC indicating that it could be made available in other markets too. The pricing of this variant is unknown but it seems as if Samsung is targeting premium customers with this model.

The 6GB variant of Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus has the same specifications as Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus apart from the RAM and inbuilt storage. The Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus has a 6.2-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED display. It has a 12 MP ‘Dual Pixel’ rear camera with optical image stabilization and an 8-megapixel front camera with auto focus. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 SoC in the US, while other international markets (including India) will get the Exynos 8895 SoC (2.35GHz Quad + 1.9GHz Quad). The Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus supports wireless charging as well as fast charging and packs a 3500mAh battery.
