After the explosive failure of the Note 7, (See what I did there?) Samsung is working hard on its upcoming Galaxy S8 smartphone. Phone’s specifications and images have already leaked online, and now a Chinese tipster has revealed Galaxy S8’s pricing and availability dates.
The phone will come in different variants and the 6GB RAM and 64 GB internal memory version will cost $885 (roughly Rs 59,000). The phones 6GB RAM and 128 GB storage version will cost $943 (almost Rs 63,000).
Galaxy S8 will also come in a 4GB RAM version, but the concrete pricing of the version is still unknown. Evan Blass, who is one of the reliable sources of leaks, has suggested that these will cost almost EUR 100 more than the last year’s phones.
The Chinese leaker has also claimed that 6GB RAM version will only be available in Asian markets of China and South Korea. There was an image of S8 too, which is similarly to recent leaks of the phone.
Galaxy S8 will come in two screen sizes: 5.8 Inch and 9.2 inches with Super AMLED curved displays on all phones. These phone will be powered by Snapdragon 835 or Samsung’s own Exynos SoC.
The phone will go on sale in 21st April, and while the authenticity of leaker can’t be verified, it should be accurate as the images came with leak look the same as last leaks.
