2016 was the year when the world saw the arrival of phones with dual rear cameras, and it looks like 2017 will start the trend of having four cameras on a single phone. You may already know that LG G6 and iPhone 7 Plus come with a dual rear facing camera setup, you may also know that Oppo F3 and LG V10 have dual cameras on the front. But forget all that now, Because that all is in the past, Alcatel launched its Flash today, and the phone comes with four cameras.

Two of them are in the back of the phone while the remaining two are on the front so that users can make the perfect duck face to click selfies and post them to Instagram. Rear cameras are both 13 megapixels in which one is color, and the other one is monochromatic. In the front, the phone’s first camera is 8 megapixel and the second one is 5 megapixel.

But hey, it’s a smartphone too. The flash has an Helio X20 processor, and the phone’s front also houses a 5.5-inch 1080p display. Powering the phone will be (sadly) Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Now that humanity has made a significant advance regarding camera counts in smartphones, all I want to see before I leave this world is a phone that comes with six cameras.
