Vivo V5s will launch on 27 April in India. The smartphone is an upgrade to the V5 that was unveiled previously. The company has sent out media invites for the launch of the V5s which is being unveiled with the hashtag #PerfectSelfie.
Vivo V5s will sport a 5.5 inch Full HD display with a 2.5D glass on top. It will be powered by a MediaTek MT6750 processor coupled with 4GB RAM. Vivo V5 will run on Android 6.0, and the company’s FunTouch OS overlay. The internal storage is expected to be 64GB. The smartphone is expected to come with dual-SIM support and pack a 3,000 mAh battery. It will sport a 20MP front camera with a Sony IMX376 sensor with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. The rear camera is expected to be 13MP with PDAF and f/2.2 aperture.
The front camera of V5 was dubbed as Moonlight camera by Vivo as it could take selfies in dim light owing to its front Flash. This feature will be present in V5s as well. The smartphone will feature a unibody design and Fingerprint Sensor too.
The Vivo V5 is priced at Rs 17,980 in India. It is a decent phone for those who wish to click a lot of pictures with their phones. The rear camera is also good and clicks good pictures in dim and low light conditions.
