Sony has launched the XA1 smartphone in India priced at Rs 19,990 on Tuesday. The Sony Xperia XA1 is the successor of Xperia XA launched last year. It is available in all Sony Centres and major electronic stores across the country. It is available in White, Black, and Pink color variants. It was first unveiled in MWC Barcelona along with Sony Xperia XZ Premium, Xperia XZs, and Xperia XA1 Ultra.
The Sony Xperia XA1 features dual SIM support and runs on Android 7 Nougat. The smartphone features a 5-inch HD display. It is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek Helio P20 octa-core SoC paired with 3GB of RAM. It features 32 GB internal memory that is expandable.
The Sony Xperia XA1 has a 23 MP Exmor RS rear camera with hybrid autofocus, 24mm wide-angle lens, f/2.0 aperture, 5x zoom, and HDR mode. The front camera is 8 MP. The smartphone sports a 2300mAh battery. Its connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi, and NFC.
Sony is offering three months free subscription of Sony Liv with the purchase of Xperia XA1. The smartphone comes with Qnovo Adaptive Charging technology that monitors the battery’s health and accordingly adjusts charging current to avoid damage and maximize the lifespan. It also has a Stamina Mode that will keep your battery going for longer when needed urgently by disabling some of the functions and extending the lifetime.
