ZTE brand Nubia launched its latest Z series phone on Thursday. The smartphone named Nubia Z17 mini was launched at an event in China. 4GB RAM variant is priced at CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 16,000) and the 6GB RAM variant is priced at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 18,800). The smartphone will go on sale on 13 April and will be available in the colors Elegant Black, Black with Gold, Champagne Gold and Red. There isn’t any news about its availability in the Indian market.
The smartphone has a metal unibody design with extremely thin bezels on the left and right side. It has dual camera setup on the back with a fingerprint sensor just above the Nubia logo. The home button is in the front.
The Nubia Z17 mini features 5.2-inch Full HD screen with 2.5D Curved Glass on top and it runs on Nubia UI 4.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The smartphone phone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 652 or 653 processor (depending on the memory variant) with Adreno 510 GPU.
The Nubia Z17 mini features a 12 MP dual lens rear camera one with monochrome lens and the other RGB lens, and Sony IMX258 sensor with f/2.2 aperture, OIS, and 4K video recording. The front camera is a stunning 16 MP with 80-degree wide-angle lens.
The connectivity options of the smartphone are 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS + GLONASS, NFC and USB Type-C. The smartphone feature 64 GB internal storage that is expandable. And it is powered by a 2950mAh battery with fast charge support.
