Sony definitely impressed a lot of fans on Mobile World Congress 2017 with the reveal of its new flagship: the Xperia XZ Premium. The phone looks to be one of the most premium made by Sony, and it has probably one of the most impressive cameras that we have seen.
But, if you are interested in buying the phone for yourself, you will have to wait for months before it actually shows up to your doorsteps.
The phone went on pre-order today for UK markets, and while the prize of the phone is also a hard pill to digest (it costs 650 euro), probably the biggest turn-off for fans is its shipping date. As per the Amazon listing, the Sony will start shipping the phone on the first June of 2017.
Also, only the Deepsea black variant is available as of now, and there is no word about the availability of the phone in other colors.
If you have been following mobile news lately, you must remember before Sony starts shipping the phone, LG’s G6 and Samsung Galaxy S8 will both be in the market. It will be fascinating to see how Sony’s confidence shows after a couple of months.
If you were in the market for a phone, would you be pre-ordering an Xperia XZ or will you wait for Galaxy S8? Share with us in the comments below.
