The Xiaomi Mi 6 is set to be unveiled this Wednesday and along with it, Xiaomi is also planning to launch the Mi Max 2. Just days before the launch Mi Max 2 render images have been leaked which give us a pretty clear idea of what to expect from the device.
The images leaked on Weibo show the Mi Max 2 sporting a full metal body. The camera and the flash are located on the top left corner on the back of the smartphone. The bottom of the device houses dual speaker grilles and a USB Type-C port. The fingerprint sensor is situated in the center and the 3.5 mm audio jack are on the top. The only change in design from its predecessor is the change in the placement of the camera and flash.
We know from earlier leaks that the phone will come in variants 4GB RAM + Snapdragon 626 SoC priced at CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs. 14,000) and 6GB RAM + Snapdragon 660 SoC priced at CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 15,900).
The Mi Max 2 will sport a 6.44 inch Full HD display and run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. It is expected to be powered by a 5,000 mAh battery. It will sport a 12 MP rear camera with Sony IMX378 sensor and a 5 MP front camera for taking selfies.
