Watch: 5 Funniest iPhone 7 Parodies

After the iPhone 7 was launched, people started posting spoofs on iPhone 7 and Apple AirPods. Here are some of the best iPhone 7 Parody videos

Apple launched the iPhone 7 early this month and as usual, there are some things to love and some things to hate in the new smartphone.

While most people liked water-resistance and the improved battery life, some were pissed about the removal of Headphone jack. Also, granted that the new AirPods are impressive, people are comparing the Bluetooth earpieces with Dental floss.

As we have started to learn from recent years, the Internet is an Amazing place. Soon after the iPhone 7 was launched, some creative – and humorful- folks created their own take on the product launch and started posting spoofs on iPhone 7 and Apple AirPods. Here are some of the best iPhone 7 Parody videos for your entertainment.

Keep in mind that the following may contain some cursing,

The iPhone 7 is Worse

Collage humor’s video on iPhone 7 straight up says that Apple has made the iPhone 7 is just worse that the older iPhone. The parody has a very similar narration as the official Introduction videos and the fact that narators voice sounds like Johny Eve is just a cherry on the top.

“We remove the headphone jack and that’s all the innovation we did”

Hey bro, can I borrow your dongle?

This iPhone 7 parody comes from jacksfilms and mocks AirPod quite impressively. You will also find US music artist Sia in the video doing some weird shit.

The new iPhone is the same as the last three

YouTuber Richi Rich’s Parody on iPhone 7 has some hilarious moments. According to the video, the only reason of Apple removing the headphone jack is to sell $160 AirPods.

Don’t Blink

After the October event, Apple uploaded a video called Don’t Blink on its YouTube Channel summarizing all the products launched on the event.

Indian Comedy group AIB created their own summary of the event and the result is completely hilarious.

Twitch Will Be Ad-Free if You Are an Amazon Prime Member

Twitch is going to be ad-free for anyone who pays for Amazon Prime alongside with that, the new user tier will also include some other perks.

Twitch, the game streaming site that every teen knows about, is going to  be ad-free for anyone who pays for Amazon Prime alongside with that, the new user tier will also include some other perks.

Twitch is currently owned by Amazon and today’s announcement from the company sheds some light on new perks of being a Prime Subscriber. The service will be -not surprisingly- called Twitch Prime and alongside with providing ad-free viewing, it will also offer games on discount prices and “game loot” for its members.

Game Loot will give users new characters, vehicles another in-game stuff for users. Also, Twitch Prime will give you a free channel subscription every month. It is not yet clear if you can keep the channel subscription for free or not.

Combining it with 2-day shipping and Amazon’s video and music libraries, the cost of $99 a year doesn’t sound too much.

Unlike other services such as Prime Video, you can’t directly subscribe to Twitch Prime standalone, instead, you are asked to sign up for Amazon Prime. The first month is free and then you will have to pay $10.99 per month.

Twitch has a deep impact on Gaming Industry and with the Twitch Prime, Amazon seems very confident that the impact of Twitch will help make the e-commerce giant more money.

How To Download 3D Videos From YouTube

Lets take a look at some of the easiest ways to download 3D Videos from YouTube to your Windows/Mac computers.

Last Saturday, I received a mail from Getting Geek reader Naina asking me how she can download 3D videos from YouTube.

Hello Getting Geek team,
I have a pair of 3D glasses dusting in my cupboard and I also have a 3D TV in my home. The problem is, there is no way I can connect my TV with my Laptop (the HDMI Port seems to have broken, I don’t want to spend too much in getting it repaired)
I was wondering if there is an easy way to download 3D videos from YouTube  so that I can later copy them to my flash drive and them watch them on my TV.

Ask your questions here.

Sure, Naina has a good question, but before discussing how she can download 3D videos from YouTube, I want to clear one thing : YouTube policies don’t seem to be liking Downloading videos from their website. You should only consider downloading anything from YouTube if you understand these legal problems.
Now that I have given you proper disclaimer, let’s dig into the problem

Searching 3D videos on YouTube

Of course, not all videos on YouTube are available in 3D (creating 3D video is a lot of hassle and computer work, BTW)

download 3d videos from youtube
To search for 3D videos, open YouTube and in the search box, enter the video that you want to download. On the next screen, you will be seeing a list of found videos. To filter out non-3D videos, simply click on Filters and then select 3D from the list.

Now that only 3D videos are shown, you can download 3D videos from YouTube .

Downloading 3D Videos from YouTube

Using KeepVid

If you don’t want to install any application on your computer to download videos, KeepVid is a great website. Simply navigate to the site and paste video URL in the text box. then hit the Download button.

You will soon see a list of available resolutions and their file sizes, simply pick any of your choices and you will be good to go.

Using Desktop Applications

If you are using a PC running Windows XP or newer, you should try installing the free version of 4K Video downloader. it is a bit restrictive on features for the free version, but if you are looking for downloading less than 25 videos at once, you don’t really need to purchase the full license.

4k downloader downloading 3d videos
Simply copy the URL of the video in YouTube and add it on 4K video Downloader. Next, you will be seeing a dialog box asking you about the resolution of the video to be downloaded.
Simply select any version that is labeled as 3D and click on Download button at the bottom.

The app is available for both Windows and Mac. In case you are running Linux, there is a version available for Ubuntu too.

The another application designed to download 3d videos from YouTube is called 3D YouTube Downloader. The app is free and it is available for Windows Only.

In comparison to 4K downloader, the 3D YouTube downloader may be a bit confusing at first for some users, in this situation click on Tools > Advance Mode to view some additional options.

Playing 3D Videos on your computer

Windows Media Player or iTunes don’t have support for playing 3D videos. But you can download and use VLC Media Player to play your 3D videos.
After installing VLC, open your media file on the player and click on Tools > Effect and Filters
On the next dialog, click on Video Effects and then select the last tab labeled Advanced
Here make sure that Anaglyph 3D is checked.

Here Are Some of the Funniest Comments Found in Code

Here are some of the funniest comments found in code.

If you have learned programming in past, you should be familiar with comments. These comments are programmer readable text that is simply ignored by the compiler when they are executed.

Comments are for programmer’s convenience, they usually use them to store some important information, directions, and To-Dos . Sometimes, programmer’s also include information that may come in handy when someone other is given charge of maintaining or editing the code.

However, in some cases, many programmers use them to show their humor or even sometimes share their feelings.

To collect some of the funniest comments found in code,  I started digging in Stack Overflow and in Quora. I found  more that a dozen comments that I can’t help sharing with you.

So, Here are some of the funniest comments found in code:

Realtek is bad?

This funny comment was written by a guy who coded a driver for a Realtek card.

* The RealTek 8139 PCI NIC redefines the meaning of 'low end.' This is
* probably the worst PCI ethernet controller ever made, with the possible

Kanye West And The Torrent Story

Who would have thought that Kanye will accidently share a photo proving that he uses Torrents too.

Earlier today, Kanye shared a photo on twitter showing off the view counts on his YouTube video, see that below.

The image looks normal at first but then twitter users noticed that the rapper had opened Torrent site ThePirateBay in another tab on the computer. Possibly trying to download a software for free.

Musician Deadmau5 soon replied to Kanye’s tweet and called him a “Dick”.

It is obvious that many people use torrents to get pirated software and music (Kanye’s too). It is surprising to see someone using it and also trying to sue torrent sites for pirating his music.

9 Movie-Based Games You Don’t Know About

Video games based on major films tend to generate a lot of attention. But every now and then such a game slips through the cracks.

Video games based on major films tend to generate a lot of attention. But every now and then such a game slips through the cracks, either because it’s designed on a smaller scale or because it simply doesn’t perform well with critics upon release. Not all of these games are particularly worthwhile, but here are 9 relatively unknowing titles based on very big films that you may find are worth your time.

Ghostbusters: The Video Game

This is actually more based on the total Ghostbusters franchise than any single film. Though because Ghostbusters: The Video Game was designed with original story content, it’s perhaps best described as a playable sequel to Ghostbusters II. This game cracked a list at WhatCulture of good video games based on movies because it “truly is a third GB movie.” While that might be going a bit far, the sentiment is fair. This game nails the Ghostbusters atmosphere and is a full adventure.

Man Of Steel – Metropolis Mayhem

This game by Warner Bros. was released alongside Man Of Steel and though it’s ultimately pretty short and simple, it’s a lot of fun. The graphics are sharp and you get to control Superman whizzing around Metropolis blasting things out of your way with heat vision. That’s about all you want in a Superman game, right?

Though not officially related to the film Troy, this amusing side-scrolling and slashing experience from the selection at Armor Games includes actual audio from the film. More importantly, despite crude graphics, it’s a terrific game and an awesome chance to enjoy the elite combat capabilities of ancient Greece’s mightiest warrior.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine

This one is pretty simple: the film of the same name was horrible, but the game designed for Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii was terrific.

The Man From U.N.C.L.E.: Mission Berlin

Despite a lot of publicity and a cast headlined by up-and-coming Hollywood hunks, The Man From U.N.C.L.E. generated relatively little noise in 2015. But this accompanying app by Warner Bros. was surprisingly fun. It’s a 3D, third-person shooter/stealth adventure that’s pretty effectively designed for mobile devices.

The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction

The two Hulk-based films that were released prior to the launch of the Marvel Cinematic Universe both fell short in their own ways. But this video game released in between the two has been hailed as a near-perfect Hulk gaming experience. It allows players to enjoy the sheer destructive power of the green beast, and it’s available for the PS2, Xbox, and Gamecube.

LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4

This is probably the most popular title on the list, so it may not fit under the umbrella of games you haven’t heard of. However, because most of the focus has always been on the console version of the game, it feels worth noting that the app version is about every bit as good.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2

Released in 2014 for brand-new consoles (at the time) like the Xbox One, PS4 and Wii U, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 accompanied the film of the same name. It generated more attention than most games on this list, but it also blended in with a pretty crowded list of Spider-Man games released in the past decade. The film didn’t do particularly well with fans or critics, which may have contributed to this game being somewhat ignored. On its own, this is a gorgeous and thorough open-world action experience. It’s arguably the closest non-Batman superhero game to match the quality of the Arkham series.

Pirates Online

Pirates Of The Caribbean: The Curse Of The Black Pearl was a sensation when it first came out, even if its sequels made the franchise appear silly and confusing. The Pirates Online MMO brings the world of the films to life in a pretty satisfying way, however, and is certainly a fun option for anyone who loved that first film.

Frankly, the world of movie-based gaming is larger than most of us tend to realize. And these are just a few forgotten titles from that world that are worth your time if you can get your hands on them.

Good news for people with too large music collations, Apple Music new allows its users to upload up to 100K songs. Previously it was locked at 25K.

Apple’s Eddy Cue announced in the past that they are working to increase upload limit of user music into Apple Music servers.

MacRumors has confirmed that the limit has been lifted for Apple Music and iTunes match. This will make it possible for music enthusiasts to stream and download their own music content which is not yet available on Apple Music or iTunes.

When scanning for Music files on iTunes, it will match all music files with the iTunes or Apple Music library and if any file is not found, it can  uploaded to Apple Serves to make it available for streaming on the go.

At the time of writing, Apple has not yet updated its support page.
