HTC’s Squeezable Smartphone, The U 11 Just Got Leaked

Specifications of the HTC U 11 were leaked earlier and they have now received confirmation from the benchmark site listing of the phone. The HTC U 11 also known as the Squeezable Smartphone has been spotted at AnTuTu and has been tipped to be powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC.

In addition to the processor, other Specifications have also been confirmed by the listing that was spotted by PriceRaja. The smartphone will feature QHD Display, 4 GB RAM in the lowest memory variant, 12 MP back camera and a 16 MP front camera for the selfie-centered phone. The phone will launch on 16 May and will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

We know from earlier leaks that the HTC U 11 will come with dual SIM support, run on Android 7.1.1 with HTC Sense UI & Edge Sense, and sport a 5.5-inch QHD Display. It is expected to come in two memory variants 6 GB RAM + 128 GB internal storage and 4 GB RAM + 64 GB internal storage.

Coming to the camera, the smartphone will feature 12-megapixel UltraPixel (possibly Sony IMX362 sensor) camera with f/1.7 aperture, OIS, dual-tone LED flash and 4K video recording capabilities. And a 16-Megapixel front camera (possibly Sony IMX351 sensor) with f/2.0 aperture, and 1080p video recording capability.

The connectivity options will include 4G LTE (dual-SIM in some markets), dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS with GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and USB 3.1 Type-C. It will have a 3000 mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0.

The HTC U 11 will feature a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button along with dust and water resistance. The audio features in the HTC U 11 will include HTC BoomSond, Hi-Res Audio, HTC Usonic (Active Noise Cancellation), and 3D Audio Recording.
