Xiaomi Mi 6 will be launched on April 19 in Beijing at the University Of Technology Gymnasium and there have been many rumors about the specification of the phone, some of which have been confirmed by the teasers from the company. We have summed up all that we know about the device below.

Price

The Xiaomi Mi 6 will allegedly be launched in 4GB of RAM + 64GB storage priced at CNY 2,199 (roughly Rs. 20,500) and 4GB + 128GB variants priced at CNY 2,599 (roughly Rs. 24,300). The Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus, on the other hand is tipped to be offered in 6GB of RAM + 64GB priced at CNY 2,699 (roughly Rs. 25,000), 6GB + 128GB at CNY 3,099 (roughly Rs. 28,990) , and 6GB + 256GB variant at CNY 3,699 (roughly Rs. 34,600).

Sketch leaks on Weibo show the Xiaomi Mi 6 with a dual camera setup. It shows the smartphone with thin bezels at the front and chamfered edges at the back. The Home button can be seen in the front, beneath which the fingerprint sensor will be housed. Another set of leaked images by a user named Reviewer on Weybourne show the Power and volume buttons on the right edge of the device and dual speaker grilles on the bottom of the phone.

Specifications

The Xiaomi Mi 6 will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat based on an unreleased version of MIUI and be powered by the most powerful Snapdragon 835 Processor. It will feature a 5.1 inch Full HD display. There will be 6 GB RAM available in various storage variants as listed above. The Mi 6 will have a 12MP rear camera with 4K video recording support and a 8 MP front camera capable of 4K recording as well.

The Mi 6 Plus will feature a Quad HD 2K OLED display with dual curved edges and dual rear camera setup. Both the smartphones are expected to have Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4.0 technology for fast charging. And the flagship is expected to house a 4,000 mAh battery although this might be for Mi 6 Plus.
