Microsoft has released Visual Studio 2017 for public download. The Visual Studio 2017 is a refreshed version of Microsoft’s integrated development environment (IDE). The Visual Studio 2017 supports non-Windows operating systems and the IDEwill facilitate the developers to build cloud and mobile apps on Mac, Linux, and other operating systems.
The Visual Studio 2017 is available for download on the company’s official site. Microsoft is also offering free 60 days access to Xamarin University to learn coding.
Microsoft has claimed the Visual Studio 2017 to be the most effective version to date, and it will help any builder, develop any app on any platform. The app development on the Visual Studio 2017 is themed around mobile applications and cloud for any operating system.
The rundown of the Visual Studio 2017 supports fast installation and project load that’s three times faster than Visual Studio 2015. It has enhanced navigation, language improvement, CMake support for C++, Linux support for C++, real-time testing of code modules, Xamarin Forms Previewer, cloud connectivity, .NET Core, and DevOps among many other features.
Along with making Visual Studio 2017 available to the public, Microsoft also released the Visual Studio for Mac Preview 4, Team Foundation Server 2017 Update 1, in additions to its Visual Studio Enterprise subscription, and Visual Studio Mobile Center Preview updates.
As the release event was live streamed on Tuesday Microsoft revealed some developments about its developer tools too.
