LG has gained many positive reviews of its G6 this year. The phone was the first big flagship phone of 2017 and it was more innovative than phones compared to OnePlus 5 or even Google Pixel with its interesting form factor and a great dual camera setup. Well, it looks like LG is preparing to launch another major phone in the market: the V30. Just like Note series for Samsung, V30 will be a bigger, more powerful phone than G6.
A leaked report on etnews, revealed that the phone might be launched between 1 to 6th September this year during IFA event.
The leak also covered some specifications of the upcoming phone. V30 will come in 3 storage variants: 32GB,64GB and 128 GB and it will be priced around Rs 45,000.
Unlike the V20, V30 will probably come without a secondary display. The leak suggested that LG will go with a taller aspect ratio just like G6. The phone will also pack a dual rear camera setup and a larger 3200mAh battery.
The SoC of the phone might be Snapdragon 835 and it will be IP68 Certified for water and dust resistance. A bump in RAM from 4GB may also be a possibility but there is no information out about it.
LG’s V series has been a competitor to Samsung Galaxy Note lineup and iPhone Plus lineup. It will be interesting to see if the company can earn a significant market share with the upcoming V30.
