After the launch of Moto G5 and G5 Plus, Lenovo has moved on to the budget segment. There have been numerous leaks about the Moto C and Moto E series. The latest leaks regarding the Moto C and Moto C Plus suggest that these smartphones will be the most affordable smartphone and Lenovo is targeting first-time buyers with them.
A report by Venture Beat’s Evan Blass, suggested that Moto C and Moto C Plus will both run on Android 7 Nougat. Both the devices are expected to Sport 5-inch display. With the Moto C Plus having HD screen resolution at 720×1280 pixels, and the Moto C with an FWVGA screen resolution at 480×854 pixels.
Moto C will come in both 3G and 4G variants but the Moto C Plus will come in only 4G LTE one. Both Moto C and Moto C Plus will sport quad-core MediaTek processors. The 3G variant of Moto C will come with a 32-bit processor clocked at 1.3GHz. And the Moto C Plus will feature 64-bit version with the same clock speed. The 4G variant of Moto C is expected to come with 64-bit architecture but come with a clock speed of 1.3GHz.
Both the variants of Moto C will feature 1 GB RAM and Moto C Plus is expected to have RAM between 1GB to 2 GB. The internals storage of Moto C Plus will be 16 GB whereas Moto C will have internal storage between 8GB and 16GB. All the variants will have expandable memory.
Moto C will sport a 2350 mAh battery whereas Moto C Plus will come with 4000 mAh battery. Moto C will have 5 MP back camera and 2 MP front camera. The front camera of Moto C Plus will be 2 MP and the back camera will be 8 MP. The smartphone will be available in Black, White, Gold, and Red color variants.
