After Samsung Galaxy S8 announced to house latest of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC in its Galaxy S8, LG had been preparing for it’s coming smartphones by sealing a deal with Qualcomm for LG G7 to have the Snapdragon 845 SoC for it. Recent of LG, G6 though hold the earlier Snapdragon 821 SoC.
LG is known to have already started working with Qualcomm to ensure that the LG G7 has the latest chipset and stay in the flagship battle next year. Aju Business Daily claims that the next generation SoC will be built on the 7nm process, with 30 percent more powerful than Snapdragon 835 SoC. Leaks manifest that the Qualcomm will follow the same pattern as last year. It will debut on the Galaxy S9. On the other hand, LG is supposed to release its G7 after Samsung’s unveil. This year, Samsung launched Galaxy S8 a little late and forced LG to release G6 with Snapdragon 835 SoC. If Samsung launches Galaxy S9 on time. LG will not delaying its launches as well.
