Every year, after the launch of its flagship devices, Samsung launches an Active version of the same phone that is exclusive to a single career. These Active version of phones are tougher and have added rugged-body elements that make them far less susceptible to drop or extream situations compared to their regular brothers.
Now that Galaxy S8 is out in the market and is doing well, it looks like the company is making another Active version on the phone. The S8 Active was leaked on Netflix, a video streaming site recently with model number SM-G892A.
Popular tipster Roland Quandt noticed it and then shared the details on twitter.

The phone will probably have military grade ruggedness and as the Netflix string suggests, it will have HDR capability just like the original Galaxy. Typically Active variants have the same internal specs as the original ones with modified specs, it will be interesting to see how Samsung will make its phone’s screen protected as it is curved.
