Nokia’s comeback is now a folklore of legends. The Nokia 3 has already launched in India and the Nokia 5 and 6 are scheduled to launch on July 7 and July 14. Now with the Nokia 9, the company will compete with Samsung and not just low-end companies like Xiaomi. Nokia 9 is expected to have Qualcomm’s latest flagship processor Snapdragon 835 which is the world’s first 10nm chipset. If this goes, Nokia 9 will join an elite group of smartphones – the Samsung Galaxy S8, HTC U11, Sony Xperia XZ Premium and OnePlus 5, powered by the Snapdragon 835. The phone may come with 2 variants one with 6GB RAM and another with a whopping 8GB if memory. Nokia 9 will also have Adreno 540 GPU, a 3,800mAh battery with QuickCharge 4 support, 62 or 128GB of internal storage depending on the variant and a 5.5-inch Quad HD OLED display protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The smartphone is expected to come with a 13MP dual lens Carl Zeiss camera at the rear with OIS, support for 4K video and a dual-LED flash alongside a 12MP front shooter for selfies. An IP68 dust and water resistance is added to compete with leading brands as the audio section too, will be of top class with ‘Nokia OZO audio’ enhancements for Dolby Atmos audio and a 3.5mm jack. A fingerprint scanner on the front is also expected.
