Nokia looks to be completely focused on the low end and mid-range Android market this month, after launching the Nokia X6 recently, the company launched its update to the last year’s Nokia 3.
The new phone updates the design and it also has some performance improvements while keeping its price to a similar level.
The new phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box and it has a 5.2-inch HD+ display with a taller aspect ratio. It is powered by MediaTek MT6750N which is paired with 2 or 3 GB of RAM. Storage options are 16 or 32 Gb although it can be expanded using MicroSD cards.
On the camera department, the phone comes with a single 13-megapixel camera on the rear and an 8-megapixel camera on the front. The battery of the phone is just average for 2018 at 2990 mAh. Probably the more impressive feature of the phone is that it comes with Android One, which means it will get Android updates directly from Google.
It will be priced at INR 10,499 or roughly $152 in the US. Considering the phone comes with Android One and as such it will get regular updates from Google mothership, it may be a good choice for users looking for cheap phones with clean software.

After launching Nokia 8 Sirocco and a refresh to its first Android phone Nokia 6, it looks like the legendary phone maker is back on with a new phone on the market. The company has named the new phone Nokia X6 and if you have been following recent phone trends, it looks like many other Android phones in the market.
Still, an almost bezel-less phone with a notch and a tall display is first for Nokia and its one of the best looking phones the company has launched in a while.
The X6 comes with 4 or 6GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 636 SoC and the front of the phone has a 5.8-inch full-HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19:9. Furthermore, the display is protected with a 2.5D curved glass.
In the optics department, the phone comes with dual camera setup on the back, one of which is 16 MP and the other one is a 5 MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The front of the phone has a single 16-megapixel sensor.
In China the phone costs CNY 1,699 which is roughly Rs 17,600 in India. There is no official date of the phone launching in US or India as of now but considering its price, Nokia must be expecting the phone to do well in mid-range phone markets.

After launching Nokia 8 Saracco, It looks like Nokia is ready to take on iPhone X and Galaxy S9 again with a new phone. This one is called Nokia X and the phone was recently leaked on Chinese retailer website.
Just like Nokia 8, the new phone will have a glass back and the front of the phone will house the dreadful-for-some notch. On the back can be seen a dual camera setup similar to of the iPhone X with a flash without the Zeiss branding that Nokia was known for in the past.
The phone has the model number of TA-1099 and a recent TENAA listing suggested that the phone will come with Android Oero pre-installed and the phone will have a 5.8-inch display with 1080 x 2280 display resolution.
Apart from that, the phone will come with an octa-core 1.8 GHz SoC and 3GB, 4 GB and 6 GB RAM options. Nokia X will come in two storage tiers -32GB and 64GB and it will also support microSD expansion up to 128GB. The cameras on the back are 16 megapixels each and the phone will also support wireless charging.
Nokia has been doing great for the first time in years, but the company has not quite been able to dethrone flagships like Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus or iPhone X. It will be interesting to see if Nokia can change it in future with the new phone.

Nokia has been launching many budget phones in the past since its return from the dead in 2016. In that process and to join the ranks with Nokia 2 and Nokia 3, the company recently launched its cheapest android phone to date.
The phone is named Nokia 1 and unlike all other phones in Nokia lineup, the phone comes with Android Go which is made especially for devices with low-powered specs.
The phone has a 1.1 GHz MediaTek SoC and 1 GB of RAM and it will come with just 8 GB of storage. The camera department is not impressive either, the phone has a basic 5-megapixel camera and the front of the phone has a 4.5-inch low-res screen.
To match with its specs, the company will sell the phone for $85 and the phones back cover can be replaced easily, although these will cost extra.
Considering Android Go is an interesting ongoing Google project, we will have to wait to see if the phone does great in terms of sales in the market.
NEXT STORY: This is What OnePlus 6 Will Look Like (And it’s a lot Like iPhone X)
Nokia 9 is Nokia’s most awaited phone at the moment. We have had leaks about phones specs and we have even seen some leaked photos of the phone in past, but the company has been keeping mum on the phone and its design.
Recently though, some concept renders of Nokia’s upcoming flagship started surfacing around the internet. These renders imagine the phone in two designs one with a normal, Nokia standard thin bezel around the phone while the other one thinks of a phone as a bezel-less phone with an iPhone X like Notch on the phone’s top.
Considering the Nokia 8 Scirocco which was launched on the MWC 2018 has a curved display, it can be assumed that Nokia will try to go with the same with on the Nokia 9 paired with an on-display fingerprint sensor if rumors are to be believed.
The phone is expected to come with Snapdragon 845 SoC and 6 GB or RAM which will put the phone into the top end of the modern Android flagship phone lineup. The phone will also have a dual ZEISS camera setup and it will have 128GB of storage which should be expandable with the use of a microSD card.

Since its return from the dead state, Nokia has shown that the company does not shy away from nostalgia pounding. In the MWC 2018, the company did it again with the launch of Nokia 8810 feature phone. The 8810, or better known as Banana phone in the Matrix movie days was a popular handset and Nokia has preserved some of the most iconic aspects of the phone in the update intact.
The phone still has a curve in its body, complete with a sliding cover for its keypad. Apart from that, the phone ahs snake preinstalled too.
However, the phone is updated in terms of features to reflect that it’s not a piece just for the showcase. It now has a color screen, a basic web browser, a crappy 2-megapixel camera and it runs of Smart Feature OS.
Other than that, the phone has hotspot options and it supports LTE across Europe. There is support for dual SIM too paired with 512 MB RAM and 4 GB storage.
Unlike the Nokia 3310 dumb phone, It will cost $97 in the US and will ship from May 2018.
NEXT STORY: Nokia Just Launched Nokia 8 Sirocco, It’s Most Powerful Phone Yet
Launched last year, Nokia 8 was the most powerful phone from the HMD Global. Nokia 8 had flagship specs, ample RAM, and a sizable battery. In an MWC 2018 event, the company unveiled an update to the phone in the form of Nokia 8 Sirocco.
Just like last year, the phone has flagship specs and it comes with Snapdragon 835 and 6 GB of LPDDR RAM. More impressive is the phone’s new 5.5-inch QHD display which is curved just like some of Samsung phones launched in last years. These phones have an older 16:9 screen ratio meaning the phone has noticeable bezels around its top and bottom.
The company is launching the phone with 128 GB of internal storage which can be expanded with the use of a microSD card. In the camera department, the phone packs a 12 and a 13-megapixel sensor on its back with Zeiss branding. The company said that it will support up to 2X optical zoom and better color quality at ranges.
What I liked most about the phone is actually its software. The phone will come pre-installed with Android One instead of a modified Android build meaning the phone will regularly keep receiving Android security updates and new Android versions for almost two years.
Nokia 8 Sirocco is priced at EUR 749 which is the most expensive Android phone from the company at the moment, however, that may change with the release of leaked Nokia 9 in future.

Just like the recent leaks suggested, the phone did not cut off the 3.5 mm audio jack and it comes with almost all modern connectivity options except for the NFC which looks to be saved only for the higher Nokia phones.
At the press time, the company announced that the phone will cost EUR 279 which is roughly 22,000 INR. Considering there are some good phones around that price, it will be interesting to see how the new Nokia 6 does in the market.
