We Finally Know How Samsung’s Galaxy S9 Will Look

Considering the fact that Galaxy S8 is one of the best selling phones by Samsung, it is no surprise that the company is working on a successor to the phone. We already know a lot about the phone thanks to some leaks and it looks like we now have a good look at what the phone will actually look like.

VentureBeat recently published of the alleged phone which shows off its big display and a body which is largely is same as the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus.

The leak suggested that S8 will have a 5.8-inch display and it will be powered by a Snapdragon 845 SoC and 4 GB RAM. The larger S9 Plus will have a 6.2-inch display and it will come with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. It looks like the company is changing very little in terms of design and focusing mostly on camera and internals of the phone.

While there were no photos of phones back, we can expect Samsung to move the fingerprint sensor to below the camera, which will be a sensible decision.

Apart from the upgraded internals, the more interesting change will be in the rear camera where the company is adding the capability of the 12-megapixel camera to change the aperture between f/2.4 and f/15.

The phone will be launched on February 25. It will be interesting to see how the phone compares to Apple’s iPhone X in the market.
