I think it will be safe to say that Nokia has made a decent comeback, starting from the first Android phone Nokia 6 which was launched last year and even the newest flagship phone Nokia 8, the company seems to be back on track and now we can expect the company to launch the Nokia 9. The phone was spotted on a benchmarking site and it our surprise, it was running the newest Android 8 Oreo. This happened in contrast to expected, and almost confirmed, Android Naught 7.1.1 anticipated by every single Nokia 9 leak earlier.
So it sums up to two Android Oreo leaks for today. Tech world is still pondering on a new Sony smartphone with Oreo leaked by GFXBench. And now here we received this surprise package from the benchmarking website about eagerly awaited Nokia device.
Nonetheless, other leaked specifications are quite obediently in line with the leaks we had before. The listing shows the purported Nokia 9 supposedly has two variants, going on a popular pattern of the concept of one smaller and one bigger plus variant. New leaks show that lower variant still has Android 7.1.1 Nougat as we saw before, so it can change too, while we now have its plus variant owning Android 8.0 Oreo.
Both will respectively have screen sizes of 5.2-inch display, and one with a 5.3-inch display. Other than that, all specifications are common. Also according to the listing, the smartphones will be powered by a 64-bit 2.4GHz Qualcomm Octa-Core chipset accompanied by an Adreno 540 GPU. It’s inbuilt and random access memory is 4GB of RAM and 64GB.
We may expect coming leaks to clear out if both variants may have the new Android. To be noted, Nokia has its own distinct fan base awaiting these devices. Now that Apple’s iPhone X is ready to go on sale, Google is preparing to launch the Pixel 2 and Galaxy Note 8 is already out, it will be interesting to see now Nokia 9 does in the market.
