Nokia is now set in the market with its various releases found around. Nokia 6 is in the retail and Nokia 8 and Nokia 9 are among the most talked about smartphones in the market. Therefore, HMD Global now moves to next smartphone in its budget section, Nokia 2, a device reported to include an extremely long-lasting 4000mAh battery. Leaks of Nokia 2 have been revealing its full face courtesy to popular tipster Evan Blass, confirming its two color variants – Black and White that are spotted already, though more maybe there.
It has navigation buttons on the screen instead of physical ones. No fingerprint scanner but Android Oreo seems to be the OS. Its launch time and date are expected to be October 5 but may vary. These details came from famous leaker Evan Blass on Twitter.

As for the specifications based on the leaks, it is expected to house entry-level specifications such as a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 SoC coupled with 1GB of RAM. Main USP remains the 4000mAh battery inside. On the pricing, it is expected to cost less than the Nokia 3 but the approximation is yet to be guessed properly.
For those who have a special fondness for long-lasting batteries, Nokia 2 is about to provide a high-quality experience in budget, as most of the functions it eliminates in comparison to its costlier mates are not the productivity based but things like the fingerprint scanner, which anyone can easily do without. Considering the Nokia 2 will compete with Xiaomi A1 and Motorola’s budget phone Moto C, it will be interesting to see how it performs in the market.
