The Z series is probably the most interesting family of phones that come with the now Lenovo owned company because of the support of Moto Mods by all phones. Just recently, Motorola added a new phone to the series with the Moto Z3.
The Z3 brings a lot of spec updates and an interesting Moto mod with it which will allow users to get 5G on their moto devices. Apart from that, the phone looks a lot like other Z series phones to keep it compatible with moto mods launched in recent years.
Spec wise, the phone is powered by a Snapdragon 835 SoC, which was the top of the line smartpho0ne silicon last year. This SoC is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded with a microSD card.
The camera on the back is a dual sensor affair with a 12 megap[ixel sensor and a 12-megapixel monochrome sensor which will also provide depth information. On the front of the phone has a single 8-megapixel sensor which also supports face unlock feature.
While the Z3 will be the first phone to support 5G, it will only work with the 5G Moto Mod, without a mod, you will only get LTE speeds. At the time of launch, the company announced that the Z3 will sell for $480 which places the phone to a fairly mid range.
