Whether it is Samsung with its Bixby, Amazon with Alexa or Google with its Google Assistant. The AI wars continuing and it looks like every company wants its piece of the market share. To register itself as a player in the market, Karbonn yesterday launched a new smartphone called Aura Note 2. The phone includes a fashion-centric app that uses AI and it will cost Rs 6990 in India (That’s almost $100)

Coming to the AI stuff, the phone has a preinstalled app call Vistoso which can search for an outfit on Internet just by looking at a picture. Once the picture is uploaded (or clicked with camera) the phone recognizes patterns, colors and finds relevant results. It sounds like a gimmick, but commenting about it without using it will probably not be a good idea.

Apart from the AI App, the phone has a decent specification considering its price. The phone has a 5.5 inch HD Display, it runs on a 1.25GHz quad-core processor which is paired with 2B for RAM. There is a 13-megapixel camera on the back with a flash and the front also houses a 5-megapixel selfie camera.

It runs on Android 7.0 and the internal storage is 16GB, keep in mind that some of it will be used by OS and pre-installed apps. Aura Note 2 supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, OTG and GPS and the battery size of the phone is 2900mAh.
