Samsung has already announced that Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus will be launched on the 25th February of 2018. We have already covered a lot of the phone thanks to some leaks, now, it looks like we have another view of the upcoming phone.
Popular leaker Evan Blass recently tweeted a leaked image of the coming phone on his timeline. The phone in the image is in the new Lilac Purple variant which is a new color for the phone. Apart from that color, Blass also claimed that the phone will also come in Midnight Black, Titanium Gray, and Coral Blue variants.
Just like previous leaks, the new photo shows a new placement for the fingerprint sensor and it also shows that Samsung will keep the dual camera feature only on the bigger and pricier Galaxy S9 Plus, which is not a big surprise considering Apple has done the same in past with iPhones.
In another news, a Twitter user @MMDDJ suggested that the phone will have the Sony IMX345 sensor which is a model number that even Sony has not yet announced, although, it may be possible that Galaxy S9 will be the first phone to come with the improved optics sensor.
Considering the fact that Galaxy S9 and S9+ will be far more expensive than last year’s phones, it will be interesting to see how the public response is once the phone hits the market.
