Just today, Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei launched a new phone called Enjoy 7S. The phone has an all metal design and it is a successor of the 6S that was launched in early months of 2017.
The phone has a 5.65-inch display that stretches to the very top and bottom of the phone giving the phone an almost bezel-less look. Screen resolution of the display is 2160 x 1080. Aside from the display, the other stand out feature for phone’s price is its camera setup. On the rear of the phone, Huawei has installed two cameras, one with a 13-megapixel sensor and the second one with a 2MP sensor for depth sensing. There is a LED flash too. On the front, there is an 8 MP camera for selfies and video calls.
Internally, the phone is powered by an octa-core Kirin 659 SoC which is clocked at 2.36 GHz coupled with a Mali T820 graphics processor. The phone has 3GB of RAM for 32 GB Storage variant and on the 64GB storage variant, the RAM is bumped up to 4GB. Both variants of the phone do support microSD expansion.
The phone has a 3000 mAh battery which is a bit low for the display size, but considering the 1080p resolution and a power efficient SoC, it is possible that the phone will last a day of use. Huawei announced that the phone will come with Android 8 preinstalled and it will be running on EMUI skin.
The phone is priced at 1499 Yuan/ $226 for the 3GB RAM variant and 1699 Yuan / $256 for the 4GB RAM version. At the moment, the phone is only available in China for sale, however, the company announced that the phone will soon be launched in other countries under its Honor brand.
