While we are waiting for the upcoming Nokia 9, at the moment, Nokia 8 is the flagship phone by HMD Global. The phone has a good design and builds quality and the phone runs on some of the best mobile parts available in the market.

Just recently, the company announced that the phone will receive a price cut of Rs 8000 ($124) in the country. This reduction of price will set the phone on sale at Rs 28,999 or $452 whereas before this the phone came at a steep price of $576. The price drop has come just before Nokia is planning to launch some new phones in the MWC.

Spec wise, Nokia 8 is Nokia’s most powerful phone at the moment. The phone runs on Snapdragon 835 SoC and comes with 4 GB of RAM. Apart from these, the phone has a 5.3-inch QHD display which as 25D curved glass and gorilla glass 5 protection. The phone is also water and dust resistant and it has dual nano SIM slots.

On the camera front, the phone has a pair of 13-megapixel sensors on the back one of which is monochrome and the front has a 13-megapixel sensor too, this time with a f/2.0 aperture.

Considering the price drop brings the phone closer to OnePlus 5T which is a beefy phone when it comes to specs, it will be interesting to see how the phone sells in the market.
