DataWind MoreGMax 3G6 Smartphone With 1 Year Free Internet Launched at Rs 5,999

Datawind has launched the new MoreGMax 3G6 in India, and it’s biggest highlight is that is that comes with free Internet access for a whole year. This is a strategy to promote the new handset that is priced at Rs 5999. The availability of the smartphone has not been officially declared.

The Canadian company in a tie-up with Reliance Jio has come up with free Internet on the MoreGMax 3G6 for 12 months. The first year of free unlimited Internet browsing via the UbiSurfer browser will however not include audio/ video streaming or local-downloads. Datawind says users will have to purchase separate top-up plans for this.

The DataWind MoreGMax 3G6 will feature a 6-inch display. It will be powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM. It will have 8GB inbuilt storage and will support expandable storage via microSD card (up to 32GB). The smartphone will come with dual SIM support and have a 8MP back camera and 2MP front camera. No details regarding the Android version or battery capacity have been revealed.

The connectivity options of the smartphone will be; GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB. However, it will not support 4G and VoLTE.
