Blackberry’s All Touch Screen Phone ‘Krypton’ Has Leaked

Once owning a great brand reputation, Blackberry almost got sunken and forgotten after the emergence of touchscreen smartphones. However, a little legging but the company is rebounding in its battle after adopting Android over its own OS, last year, BlackBerry Priv was launched with a mostly positive response and earlier this year, BlackBerry KeyOne also impressed people with its build and feature set. And now, after DTEK phones another full touchscreen phone is awaited from Blackberry.

We had already seen a leak about the BlackBerry Krypton this month and now Evan Blass brought us the leaks that show the facets of this new device, which is now  BlackBerry ‘Motion’. He mentions it is is the same phone which was earlier rumoured as ‘Krypton’.

This form factor smartphone is supposed to include an HD (1920x1080p) display, it will be powered by either Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 or 626 SoC with 4GB of RAM. A home button on the front will hold a fingerprint sensor. And volume and power keys on the right side. Its expected battery is also a powerful one with 4,000mAh. Though not a part of the leak, it is expected that it will have some kind of dust and water resistance technology imbibed.

However, a part that may go negative is that Blackberry has a bad record in keeping up with the latest Android versions. And the same seems to be the case with this phone which may be sporting an earlier Android than Oreo. It cuts a lot much attraction when the market is pretty hasty.

It will be interesting to see how the phone compares to current flagships including the Galaxy Note 8 and iPhone X.
