The final version of Android O is now ready and launching on August 21. A live streaming event from New York at 2:40 pm ET that will also coincide with the solar eclipse is about to bring this event to us. At Android.com/eclipse, they are already counting down the event. “Android O is touching down to Earth with the total solar eclipse,” the site promises, “bringing some super (sweet) new powers!”
As we known that Android sucks at security, Google has finally paid a little attention to it. Lots of security enhancements are added in the new version which includes “Google Play Protect” anti-malware branding. Also, Android 8.0, or Android-O, brings Project Treble onboard, a modularization of the OS separate from the hardware. It will help developers control new Android updates.
For the present, Android O is growing out of its fourth developer preview launched in March. It is much known already through many leaks. It reformats the notification panel with a new layout, colors, and features, and Google is tightening background apps for more of a lucid performance that can compete with iPhones along with a better battery life. There are new emojis, a faster startup, and a new settings app added up.
We are going to see an audaciously visible change in looks and design.
So, as we see, the event is very close and very soon we are to witness this giant leap from Google that is to introduce a whole lot of new ways Android is seen while as there are rumors, we may also witness a few basics of future technologies Google is looking forward, like Google Lens and other, so to say.
